After reading the words caravan insurance reviews, I wondered if anyone would insure a caravan that was going to be anywhere near Jeremy Clarkson.

Anyone who knows anything about Jeremy Clarkson will know he has a pathological hatred of caravans and often has great fun blowing them up.

I would imagine that if Jeremy Clarksons name came up on any insurance, particularly caravan insurance, companies would immediately bin the application.

caravan insurance reviews are unlikely to mention Jeremy Clarkson and his hatred of caravans.

I think he may be ok with static caravans, although they do seem a bit pointless, you may as well get a bungalow or a flat. Unless, of course, a static caravan is cheaper. That would, I suppose, depend on the type of caravan and the type of flat or bungalow you are intending to buy.

Some caravans are very posh and you would definitely need to check caravan insurance reviews to find the best deal.

Some caravan insurance reviews would perhaps just be a commercial for a particular company, while others would be genuine, unbiased reviews. Which magazine or the Watchdog website would probably be the best places to go to get unbiased reviews on caravan insurance.

As a child I used to go with my family on caravan holidays. As no-one could drive at the time, we would go on a coach to the destination and hire a caravan for a week or, sometimes, two weeks.

These caravan holidays are remembered, at least by me, with a mixture of thoughts.

When we began going on caravan holidays, there was no running water in the caravans and no toilets.

We had to go to a tap every day and carry water back to the caravan. This job was usually given to the children.

The toilets were in blocks and there were about three or four blocks on the site. This was fine during the day but quite frightening on a dark night. We all tried to make sure we went before bed and held it if we needed to go in the night.

It was left to my mother and sister to clean the caravan every morning. Other jobs, such as fetching water and going to the shop, were given to the children. Emptying a waste bucket after the washing up had been done was the worst job and, most of the time, me and my niece thought it was a boys job, so it was a job for my nephew. I don't think we'd get away with that now.
