It is that time of year again to renew the insurance on our commercial business, and I think we should be looking at different liability insurance for our older car. It seems like it is always time to get insurance when Christmas rolls around, so you are buying Christmas presents at the same time deciding on which car insurance to get again for the year.

I think what I might do this year is check around for different companies and see if they can give me better quotes than my agent does now. It is so hard to decide which car insurance to go with every year. I wonder if other people have as much trouble as we do, or is it just us deciding on which car insurance to buy every year. One time we think we just need liability, and then the next time we decide that we need full coverage.

I am sure glad I do not have the job of being an agent because I wouldn’t know what to do with all of these decisions that I have to make and then tell my agent. I will have to admit that I have thought about becoming an agent for insurance, but I would only want to do car insurance. I have no reason of why I would want to, but I do think their job is of interest to the public. You get the pleasure of talking to people on the phone, and also in person.

Everyone has told me I am a people person, and I guess that means that I get along with the public really well. I have been told I could talk a leg off of anyone and I could convince anyone to buy anything.

Well I am still deciding on which car insurance to buy yet for the coming year. I wouldn’t have to worry about this job, if we didn’t trade cars every year. The only reason we trade cars as often as we do, is because we put a lot of miles on the car for our business and we pay for insurance by the year. If our insurance stays the same for the next year, then we stay with the same insurance company, but if it goes up over 200 dollars, we start looking for another company.

We live on a budget each year and we allow about 500 dollars extra in this budget, and insurance is one thing we do not go over. The way the economy has been this year, insurance is the one thing that should stay the same and not go up. I guess I will have to wait and decide after I get a different car on which car insurance I should purchase.
